EP Energy Supports Local Organizations

Dec 17, 2012

Altamont, Utah, December 17, 2012 – Employees of EP Energy in the Altamont, Utah area have been active in the community this holiday season, making donations to further the missions of two local organizations.

On Monday, December 17, company employees met with representatives of local ambulance companies to present them with two global positioning satellite (GPS) units. The GPS units have been customized to include location coordinates for oil wells in the Uintah Basin to ensure first responders can arrive at these locations quickly.

In making the donation, Joe Sager, Production Superintendent for EP Energy’s Altamont operations said, “We’re pleased to provide these units to local emergency responders to help them respond more effectively when needed in our community. EP Energy is committed to building enduring partnerships in the towns and cities where we operate, and this donation is another example of that commitment.”  In addition, company employees recently came together for their annual holiday party and raised funds for another local organization: the Duchesne County Children’s Justice Center. Company employees provided a check for the funds to the organization on December 17.
